St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

We hold school tours on Monday's and Friday's at 11am.  Our availabilty is limited so should you wish to take a tour of the school, please call reception on 01252 350583 or email admissions@st-josephs.hants.sch.uk to book a date in the diary.  

The Year R Admissions main round for September 2026 will open on Saturday, 1st November 2025.  You will be able to apply for a Year R place on or after that date via your local authority website. We admit children to our school in the September after their fourth birthday. 

Please note that our published admissions number (PAN) for all our Reception year groups is 70.

In order to make an In Year Transfer application, you will need to do this via your local County Council website.  In addition to the online application, you will also need to complete and return the Supplementary Form below.  Please note that our published admissions number (PAN) for all our year groups is 70.

Please note that we will require ORIGINAL copies of all your supporting documentation.

Where there are more applicants than places available, a waiting list will operate for each year group according to our agreed Admissions Arrangements and without regard to the date the application was received or when a child's name was added to the waiting list.  Waiting lists will be reviewed in the Summer term of each Academic Year and parents will be contacted to see whether they wish for their child to remain on the waiting list.  Failure to confirm your child's position on the waiting list will result in  your child's removal from the list.

As required by regulations, the Governing Body of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Bridge Road, Aldershot, will be conducting a consultation on its proposed admission arrangements for the school year 2026-2027. The consultation period runs for a minimum period of 6 weeks from Friday, 25^th October 2024 until Friday, 6^th December 2024.

Comments on the arrangements should be made to the clerk to the Governing Body before Friday, 6^th December 2024 via email on admin@st-josephs.hants.sch.uk.

The Governing Body will consider all comments received before determining its admission arrangements by Friday, 10^th January 2025.
